A bunch of crappy low-res edits for the time being. That human-cello scene was deliciously gnarly. :B
Another cover of an F.I.R song! :3 This one took a long time.
Lyrics and phonetics here: (X)
A partially complete cover of F.I.R’s “Lydia”; I left out the last chorus. The latin at the beginning is the original singer’s voice.
Chinese lyrics, english phonetics, and a translation for the lyrics can be found on this page: (X)

I’m 20! :D You know that whole “age is just a number” thing though? It’s sorta relevant here. I don’t know how I’m even still alive right now because I’ve pretty much been stuck with the coordination of a five-year old.
Turning 21 this May; somebody teach me how to adult because how do you life? How do the thing? o__o??
I don’t recall having done any of the “ask me anything” invitations on here before, so let’s give it a shot. I’d say “nothing is off limits”, but I honestly don’t know to what extent I’d be willing to answer and can’t promise anything, but it won’t hurt to try! :D
Off to my askbox you go.
And now, a special showcase of some of the most cringe-worthy moments of my artistic ventures from 2006, when I was 13 years old. These are FAR from the worst ones I have on file, but those are mostly hidden away from the internet and will never see the light of day again.
Read the captions. Have fun cringing. XD
One time in junior year of high school I found this giant floofy moth and kept it as a pet for a couple of days (its wings were damaged). During this time I tried to feed it sugar water until some research revealed that this breed (One-eyed Sphinx) didn’t eat after emerging and would die in just a few days, so I just let it hang out on my face or my keyboard until it did. XD And I petted its fluffy fluff so much that I eventually gave it a bald spot.
A ton of crappy iPhone pics to show the basic process and order of how I draw faces! :D Everyone has their own order of what to draw first, so I thought I’d share mine~ Featuring everyone’s favorite dwarf from The Hobbit, Kili! A really quick sketch.
I have an entire sketchbook filled with SO MANY Hobbit fanart drawings (mostly the dwarves), I’ve just been too lazy to scan them. But there are so many. I’ll share them all eventually. XD
Went to the American Museum of Natural History with finnsickert, they had a special exhibition featuring a butterfly conservatory filled with dozens of these buggers just flitting around. :D There were so many, and they were all huge and really beautiful. I couldn’t get photos of all of them, but these were the ones I managed to coax onto my hand. (I’m really good at making butterflies get on my hand for some reason.)

Dude anon I know?? XD I may be a little too sensitive but I’m sitting here genuinely heartbroken, I made that post because that suit was just so adorably derpy in some parts of the movie that it reminded me of the Moon Moon meme; I wasn’t even expecting it to get over double-digit notes since it was just a little post-movie personal blurb I made. I’m a little taken aback at how many people are lashing out, it’s like…if I paid enough attention in the movie to notice its little undignified moments, then I obviously also caught the part about it being a prototype and that it saved the day many times and is really quite awesome, I don’t need to be reminded of that. WE ALL LOVE MARK 42 STOP TAKING A JOKE SO SERIOUSLY Y’ALL SIT THE FUCK DOWN AND JUST ENJOY THE FANDOM
X-O OUT
New fanart and a little give-away…
I was in the mood for some typography so inspired by Bilbo’s contract I made a sort of prop for a cute fic I read recently, ‘The Oakenshield Commandments’ by Exdasho. The scroll turned out about 1m long and is completely handmade, from the distressed paper to the lettering and the drawings.
Since I’m already close to suffocating in paper I want to give it away to someone, so if you’d like to have the scroll just reblog this entry and I will randomly select a winner during the first week of April.
You can see the scroll bigger here.
Ladies and Gents. This deliciously talented person created a real-life handwritten replica of Thorin’s list of rules from my fanfic here: (x) I am honoured beyond belief. *___* Look at that stunning thing. It’s so beautiful. *creepy whispering* They’ve got the details down absolutely perfectly from the lovely aged look of the paper to the little smudges, and of course the doodles done by Kili.
I’m going to go stare at it forever and so should you.
