Mandarin is my mother tongue, been speaking it my whole life! :3 I mostly sing in English and Mandarin since I’m the most fluent in these two; sometimes Japanese because I speak/write a little of it and can understand about 60%. Anything else and I’ll probably butcher the pronunciation. XD

I think I’ve been asked this question before quite a while ago, but the answer’s changed since then. XD I initiated a break up with my boyfriend some time ago and the ensuing hullabaloo was inarguably one of the nastier things I’ve had to wade through, but hey, it’s all good, I’ve long moved on and life goes on. I’m free to frolic for the time being. :D

Oh my gosh, I know how you feel. :’D There’s definitely more room for freedom of expression here. It all depends on personal preference, I suppose; some may find it too chaotic with a little TOO much freedom. *bald eagle screech* In any case, I wish you all the best for your studies and hope you’ll be able to make it wherever you choose!

From tumblr, you mean? My facebook is MOSTLY reserved for people I know irl and in school to keep things under control; but I do have exceptions for friends of friends, folks I know online, etc. I don’t really have a fixed criteria I guess. @___@

Oh man. Where do I start…while I was living in Singapore, I was pretty unhappy, but mostly because the education system there was too unimaginative, inflexible, and oppressive for my tastes. That’s mostly the reason why I worked my ass off to get out and come to the US, I felt like I’d go mad if I stayed there. Now that I’ve been studying in the US for about 5-6 years though, my hatred for it has died down and I love going back during vacations and hanging out with my parents and friends; it’s still a lovely and entertaining place now that I don’t have school to worry about.
BUT, I think there’s no competition when it comes to where I’d want to live and eventually work; my answer is definitely the US. Even though I may have grown up in Singapore, there’s something that I can’t quite connect with or grow accustomed to - the same goes for Beijing, where I was born and where a good chunk of the rest of my family is. It’ll always be a place with memories, but it’s not where I want my life to be. There’s things I don’t like about the US as well but I feel much more at home here. :3

It was made by an artist named Syosa (link) on DeviantART, I think it’s an original character!

I’d love to, which gif are you referring to though? Is it the one at the top of my blog? :>

I’m 20! :D You know that whole “age is just a number” thing though? It’s sorta relevant here. I don’t know how I’m even still alive right now because I’ve pretty much been stuck with the coordination of a five-year old.
Turning 21 this May; somebody teach me how to adult because how do you life? How do the thing? o__o??
I don’t recall having done any of the “ask me anything” invitations on here before, so let’s give it a shot. I’d say “nothing is off limits”, but I honestly don’t know to what extent I’d be willing to answer and can’t promise anything, but it won’t hurt to try! :D
Off to my askbox you go.

Dude anon I know?? XD I may be a little too sensitive but I’m sitting here genuinely heartbroken, I made that post because that suit was just so adorably derpy in some parts of the movie that it reminded me of the Moon Moon meme; I wasn’t even expecting it to get over double-digit notes since it was just a little post-movie personal blurb I made. I’m a little taken aback at how many people are lashing out, it’s like…if I paid enough attention in the movie to notice its little undignified moments, then I obviously also caught the part about it being a prototype and that it saved the day many times and is really quite awesome, I don’t need to be reminded of that. WE ALL LOVE MARK 42 STOP TAKING A JOKE SO SERIOUSLY Y’ALL SIT THE FUCK DOWN AND JUST ENJOY THE FANDOM

Hello! Um….I’m hardly an expert on the topic, but let me just tell you a few things that work for me! You can start off with simple things, but the key is to draw A LOT. It doesn’t matter if you’re having an art block, or a day where nothing looks right, the key is to keep drawing and you will see improvement! Observe the things around you, and get inspiration from the art of others. As long as you respect copyright, don’t be afraid to use references to help you improve. Doodle all the time and on everything. :D Hope that helps!

You mean TV shows? Hm, let’s see…in no particular order: (I’ll include anime and radio shows as well since I don’t really have enough to make 10) Supernatural, Game of Thrones, BBC Sherlock, Cabin Pressure, Suits, Gravity Falls, A Bit of Fry and Laurie, QI, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and Durarara!!.
I haven’t gotten around to Doctor Who and a couple of other popular ones, but I will one day! :D
